Our suffering comes from our unlived life--the unseen, unfelt parts of our psyche.

                                               -Carl Jung

At the heart of my work is the belief that every person is yearning for a sense of purpose and meaning in their life and seeks the opportunity to heal at a profound level. Removal of old beliefs and behaviors dissemble the blocks that have been created through the influence of traumatic, painful events. A new, healthy interface with the world is created.

Everyone’s particular direction, everyone’s journey is completely different. What I consistently emphasize in my work is the relationship with each individual. The question at the forefront is always, “What is in this person’s highest good and what will help this person move towards their highest potential”? To this end, my approach with individuals is eclectic and integrates many different theories and modalities.

As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light of meaning in the darkness of mere being.
