GROUP PROGRAMS
Groups promote healing. In any group, the therapeutic process is real-time because of interaction between participants. One is no longer in the artificial environment of one-on-one therapy. Life involves contact with others, and often people have not had the opportunity to experience functional and healthy families from which to model their future relationships. Groups have the potential to provide that experience.

Letting Go
The Letting Go weekend workshop provides both information and experiential learning, offering a different lens through which to see one’s life. We begin by teaching about the “Victim Triangle”, a common dynamic of interpersonal relating that is prevalent in most relationships, between couples, parents/children, work colleagues, friends.
In the workshop, we name, describe, and recognize the dysfunction and then move into a new model of relating to others. Understanding relationship boundaries helps to establish and maintain them in a healthy manner. We work with “The Four Agreements”, a behavioral template to assist in becoming 100% responsible for our own behaviors, actions, and feelings.
In our lives, we often hold on to what no longer serves us: old ideas, beliefs, fears, expectations, and even people. Letting Go frees us to open the door to healing. This workshop is the first step in reclaiming your vision, realigning your path, and revitalizing your dreams.

Personal Transformation Intensive
A spiritually based therapeutic healing workshop series.
Often people continue from the Letting Go workshop to the Personal Transformation Intensive (PTI). The PTI program is a series of five weekend workshops, meeting one weekend a month for five months. It is an on-site program in which each weekend focuses on a different theme, building on the work of each previous weekend.
Week One: Healing Codependency
Dysfunctional relationships, establishing boundaries, healthy communication and expression of feelings, the “Victim Triangle”
Week Two: Healing Addictions
Addictive behaviors and patterns, identifying and releasing shame and other self-defeating influences
Week Three: Healing Sexual Abuse
Body shame, sexual abuse and sexuality issues, birth issues
Week Four: The Mind-Body
Strengthening of physical and psychic immune systems, relationship between mind and body
Week Five: Healing Relationships
Detrimental patterns in existing relationships, releasing unhealthy relationships
The benefits are many as people learn to: Increase self-awareness and understanding, release self-defeating beliefs and patterns, deepen the spiritual connection whatever that may be, enhance communication skills with the “clearing process”, promote abundance and prosperity with integrity, develop better health, reduce stress, and attract healthy, fulfilling relationships. My teaching partner, Bliss Holland, LCSW, and I, are committed to making both Letting Go and PTI a rich, meaningful and fun experience.
The PTI integrates humanistic, transpersonal, and existential healing approaches using Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, Energetic Psychodrama (done in trance as in hypnotherapy), Holotropic Breathwork, Meditation and Guided Visualization.
It meets one weekend a month for five months, from 2 pm Friday to 4 pm Sunday at the Peaceful Meadow Retreat Center, just outside of Boulder. There are 4 levels of PTI and each level is the equivalent of 120-130 hours of individual therapy.

Trim Life
Many people frequently diet and become “yo-yo dieters”. Consider when you eat. Is it when you’re hungry, or are you sad or angry or bored? In this culture, it is not uncommon for individuals to use food as an emotional release, appropriately called “emotional eating”.
Trim Life is a program designed to train your mind to “release weight." It is a guide in which participants discover the emotional triggers that create unhealthy eating patterns. Individuals learn hypnotic techniques to eliminate food cravings, reversing negative self-talk and beliefs. In learning to identify and address the emotional issues that often drive overeating or binging, eating habits change. Psycho-educational discussions are integrated in to the work.
During these 6 weeks of 2.5 hour classes, participants will receive a book, a workbook, and CD’s to help continue the hypnotic work.
